Water for Bees

Just like us, bees need food and water in order to survive. And while they can store food in their hive, they need a supply of fresh water. But you don't have to be a beekeeper to provide a safe water source for bees. 

I made this bee watering hole by filling a plant drainage saucer with rocks and then adding water. The rocks provide a safe way for bees to climb out so they don't drown. And, as you can see, they love it.
